Last Sunday when I visited Susan and Tina, Susan was helping Tina finish her weekend homework. For her English assignment, Tina had to write a word starting with “H” ending in “less“, so Tina decided to write “Hopeless” while Susan suggested “Helpless”….. Both are correct! Isn’t it?

I overheard Susan mentioning to Tina that from the sound of it, “Hopelesssounds very negative and thus, she should use “Helpless” instead….I started wondering, doesn’t “Helpless” sound negative too!

Before I begin, if given a choice, you would like to choose which word out of these 2 words? Helpless or Hopeless

Are you also wondering just like me 🙂

If you feel “Hopeless”, that means you don’t have any HOPE 😦 With this mindset, you are yourself closing doors, both mentally and physically. Most of our life’s battles are won in our mind first, even before they are brought out in physicality….Do you agree? So if you have lost Hope, then, from where will you gather the strength to fight your circumstances?

Just because you have HOPE, you will get that right motivation, that extra push for your inner strength and gradually you will achieve what you strive for. And believe me once you start taking that first step, eventually help will arrive from somewhere. Remember that saying “God helps those who help themselves”!

Our mind is very powerful and whatever signal we send within, our mind and heart responds accordingly. So be wise in your actions, reactions as well as your thoughts towards whatever is happening around you, as collectively, i.e. both consciously and subconsciously, you decide and tell yourself what you should feel.

No body’s life is perfect. We all have our share of problems, issues, crisis, concerns…. Sometimes it is a major crisis, which I totally understand is difficult to manage, but trust me, most of the other times thankfully it is just a tiny issue. Only if we consciously choose our mindset wisely, half the battle is already won👍. I know, you are thinking – easier said than done 😜but try it once and let me know if it helped!

It costs nothing but if a little effort can help us avoid so much agony and pain, then it’s totally worth trying, isn’t it?

Wonderfully explained and well written article, I can totally relate to this as recently I was in a situation where I could be hopeless or helpless, but I choose to be helpless at the moment and kept my faith in Almighty will surely come to my rescue, like HE always does in all other situations in the past. Never loose hope.
